Do you have a passion for automating everything related to pipelines, platforms, and infrastructure? Do you want to enable our developers to build and deliver high quality software faster? Would you like to work in an international company with rapid growth and high ambitions?
Become a part of our Technology Software division
Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and a world-leading supplier of intelligent metering solutions and services. We have a strong focus on developing the most innovative and value-adding intelligent metering solutions and services for energy- and water consumption and were 2022 awarded the innovation prize by Dansk Industri (DI). Our ambition is to transform meter data into insights that will help utilities optimize the production and distribution of clean water and energy and we experience significant demand for our products, solutions, and services. We are expanding our department to build next generation solutions for Water and District heating, and the DevOps team responsible for our CI/CD pipelines and many other areas are growing as well.
With direct reference to our Team Manager, you will become a part of our Heat/Cooling and Water team in Technology Software. As a part of Technology Software, you will join a division consisting of 170 skilled software professionals, who are dedicated to developing the best possible software solutions for our customers.
A job with focus on collaboration, automation, and technical responsibility
As a DevOps Engineer you will be engaged with teams across development, platform and operations, and act as a link between these groups. Automation is key in all areas of operation, and you will play an important role in developing and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines, utilizing containerized deployment, infrastructure as code and generally supporting Kamstrup in the ongoing cloud transformation.
To do so, you are expected to have experience with at least some of the following areas:
- Azure cloud solutions
- Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Docker containers and preferably Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
- Scripting and programming skills (PowerShell and C#)
Furthermore, you can expect to achieve a great level of insight into our products, and you will therefore naturally be involved in troubleshooting complex issues and incidents. Therefore, experience with MS SQL and tools like Wireshark and Fiddler will be considered an advantage.
It is possible and widely used in the department to work from home, but we expect to see you on-site in Stilling at least three days a week
Personality matters
We are looking for a committed and ambitious person who is passionate about their work. You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar, combined with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within DevOps or a similar technical background – perhaps as a developer, combined with an interest in pipelines, cloud technologies and automation.
As a person, you are excellent at creating relations across the organization and you thrive in an outgoing role. You have an analytical and data driven approach to tasks and problems and are good at keeping the overview in a busy environment with multiple ongoing tasks, having a continuous focus on quality in the solutions you deliver.
It is a requirement that you master English on a high level – both orally and written.
We offer more than just a job
In this position you will be able to take on a lot of responsibility, while we will ensure you have the necessary support to develop both your technical and personal skills. Furthermore, you will get the opportunity to set your mark on the development of the innovative software solutions in Kamstrup’s growing product portfolio. We value ambitions and take pride in our work, but we also believe in having fun and taking care of each other.
