Your role
As QEHS Managers you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining QEHS activities across the business. This includes our four production sites, located in both Denmark and Poland, as well as our sales and service organization in Denmark and multiple locations in Europe.
You will have an important role in contributing to our business value. As you excel at collaborating with various stakeholders, identifying improvement potentials in our daily work, and setting ambitious targets, you will ensure that our QEHS activities support the business strategy and goals.
You will lead a small team, currently consisting of an EHS Specialist, and will be reporting to Head of Operations. You will also collaborate with colleagues at Grundfos about requirements and alignment of processes. One of your major tasks will be to drive the implementation of ISO9001 procedures across the business with assistance from external consultants.
Your daily work will be at the HQ in Stilling near Skanderborg where we have gathered the primary production facilities, purchasing, warehouse, shipping etc.
Responsibilities
- Proposing and setting targets and strategy for QEHS together with top management
- Being the project driver for implementation of ISO9001 procedures
- Managing and supporting development the quality setup in the production sites
- Managing and supporting development of EHS in the production sites, and in the sales and service organization
- Driving environmental and sustainability projects
Who are you?
You might have an engineering degree, Marine Engineering, or similar. Preferably you have at least 5 years of leadership experience within the QEHS area in a manufacturing company.
To succeed in the role, we find it essential that you have a proactive and strategic mindset and are able to actively engage in challenging issues and take responsibility for developing business processes and solutions.
You possess strong collaboration and communication skills and have a natural ability to interact with colleagues within different business areas. Fluency in English is necessary, and it is preferred that you can speak Danish.
You have strong knowledge within the QEHS area, such as knowledge of Risk Assessments and mitigating risk. You have experience developing and implementing QEHS Management systems, including policies, procedures, and training programs, and are familiar with ISO standards, including ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001.
