With direct reference to the Team Manager, you will become part of our Technology Software department, which is working on the development and improvement of our current and future software solutions. More specifically, you will become part of our skilled Software Security team consisting of five skilled Developers, Testers, and a Scrum Master working together through an Agile Workflow to develop reusable common security software solutions for our products. Furthermore, you will become part of Kamstrup’s tech-savvy security knowledge-sharing community with 20+ equal-minded colleagues.
A job with focus on developing application and meter security
In the position as Senior Software Security Specialist, you play a central role in the development, refinement, and implementation of our future security solutions through best practices. Therefore, you will have a high degree of responsibility and influence on the future of our products.
More specifically, you will be:
- Developing and improving our current and future security solutions within access management and application security
- The go-to security advisor for matters of implementing security standards, which you will be implementing in collaboration with our international team
- Working with a continuously expanding portfolio of technologies ensuring the optimal solutions for our security needs
- Having a significant influence on the way the team works in the future ensuring the production of high-quality security solutions
Personality matters
We are looking for an experienced Software Security Engineer who is comfortable being a central part of developing our security solutions. We imagine that you hold a master’s degree in cyber security or similar and have previously held jobs with similar responsibilities. Experience with OIDC, IdP, and SSO is a requirement.

These traits help you become especially aware of potential security threats and solve them through high-quality work. You thrive with a high degree of responsibility and people feel confident in your abilities to guide best practices within the security field. Working with other people comes naturally to you and your positive disposition contributes to the atmosphere of the team.
Our portfolio of technologies and systems is expanding continuously, so experience with the following is an advantage:
- C# and ASP .NET CORE
- Authorization, Authentication, and identity management
- Azure AD, Azure Services and Cloud development
- GIT and GitLab
- AngularJS
- WCF
- CI/CD
It is a requirement that you master English on a high level – both written and spoken. Danish is an advantage.
